Phillips, Richard & Rind, P.A. was formed from two predecessor law firms, both of which dedicated their practices to labor and employment law. The personnel and staff of the two firms merged in June 1998 to form the current law firm of Phillips, Richard & Rind, P.A. Kathleen Phillips was a partner at one of the predecessor firms, formerly known as Kaplan & Bloom, P.A. which provided union-side labor and employment law services for over 30 years in South Florida. Mark Richard headed the other predecessor firm which focused on employment law and labor law for over 25 years. Ms. Phillips and Mr. Richard are now the lead shareholders of our firm and, together, have been practicing labor, employment, and ERISA law for decades. We currently represent over 50 unions throughout Florida and across the country.
